Sleep Over
We had all the cousins who live here in Texas come spend the night last Friday. We had pizza for dinner and then started on carving pumpkins. Sierra, who is 10, was helping me get all the tops cut out and getting all the seeds and gross stuff scraped out. The youngest ones lost interest due to all this work and were just running around the yard playing and that was fine. Once we got them ready to go most everyone came back over and started working on tracing the designs onto the pumpkins by poking little holes with the pokers. By the time we got done it was dark and everyone moved into the house. All the girls were whispering and giggling and trying to get the boys to go in another room. It took a while to get everyone situated and settled down, but eventually everyone did go to sleep. After breakfast on Saturday morning and playing around the house we loaded up and went to the roller skating rink. It was the first or second time for everyone to skate, so there was a lot of hugging the wall. But, I think they all had fun. I wish we would all get together more often. I love for them to get to play and get to know each other better. Here's who was here.
Sierra - 10
Breanna - 9
Timothy - 6
Aubree - 10
Cross - 6
Cole - 3
Lil Jesse stayed the night at a friend's house, as you can imaging being 14 he really didn't want to be in the house full of kids!
Trip to Cozumel, MX

We took a nice trip to Mexico at the beginning of October. We went with Jesse's best friend, Wayne, and his wife Jenny. Another friend, Trisha. Jenny and Wayne's neighbors, Bruce and Pam. And Jenny's Mom, Yvonne, and Step-Dad, Lee. So, it was a fun trip with two generations. We stayed at an all-inclusive place, but had two jeeps and went several places all over the island to different beaches and bars/restaurants along them. Jenny, her Mom, and I swam with dolphins which was so cool. Wish we had better pictures of it, but they have their own photographers taking pictures that they try to sell you afterwards for a ridiculous prices, so they don't let you get any good pictures of your own even though they charged $25 for Jesse and Lee just to come in and watch and take pictures. They purposely have you facing away from where they could take pictures when the dolphins were giving us kisses and stuff. But, all in all it was a cool experience and we all really enjoyed it. We got there on Friday and came back on Monday, so it was a pretty short vacation. But, it was nice to get away with all adults and no work or kid responsibilities.
Visiting the Fire Station

Grandma Donna took the boys to the fire station near our house over the summer. Cross loved it and was trying everything out. But, Cole was scared when the fireman put all the gear on including the helmet. The fireman tried to tell him before hand that it would be him under all the gear and not to be scared, but he still didn't want anything to do with him when he was all geared up. That is why only Cross is in the picture.
